Tsunami

December 26th 2004 8.30am I went to to class. When I arrived I saw a lot of peeople running quickly towards me. I couldn't understand why they were running and shouting. Some of them were screaming that waves were coming at us.
I was shocked and didn't know what to do. My friends and I joined the other people and ran towards a big building.
A few minutes later I saw the waves destroying all the houses and buildings. People were trapped in the water and crying for help. One lady was holding her child over her head and lifted the child to be saved. I got the child and tried to help her but she was hit again by the waves.
The woman needed help but I couldn't help her. That was the worst experience in my life.
